Announcement of the dates and arrangements for submitting applications to benefit from vacant study seats at the Bachelor's degree level allocated to the children of employees of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Accreditation and Quality Assurance Commission for graduates of the 2025-2026 supplementary session

The Unified Admission Coordination Unit at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, in cooperation with the Directorate of Human Resources and Institutional Development, announces that the dates for submitting applications to benefit from the vacant study seats allocated in the official Jordanian universities for the children of employees of the Ministry, and the children of employees of the Accreditation and Quality Assurance Commission for graduates of the 2025-2026 supplementary session, will begin as of Monday morning الموافق 16-2-2026 and will end at 3:00 PM on Wednesday الموافق 18-2-2026, through the electronic application submission software at the following link:

Note that children of employees of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research are not required to upload any documents, whereas children of employees of the Accreditation and Quality Assurance Commission must upload a certificate from the Directorate of Human Resources in the Commission that includes the following information:

  • Date of appointment of the father/mother in the Commission.
  • Duration of the employee’s service and current status.
  • Date of retirement or resignation.

Conditions for applying to benefit from the seats allocated to employees’ children:

  1. The student must have fulfilled the requirements for passing and enrolling in official universities for the first time in the Jordanian General Secondary Education Certificate (Tawjihi) supplementary session for the year 2025-2026 only.
  2. The General Secondary Education Certificate obtained by the student must be from the stream that qualifies him/her to enroll in the college or the major applied for, in accordance with the conditions stated in the General Policy for Admission of Students to Official Jordanian Universities issued by the Higher Education Council for the year 2025-2026.
  3. The student must have submitted an electronic application to the Unified Admission Coordination Unit for the 2025-2026 supplementary session.
  4. The student must not have been nominated for admission to the same university/major that the Ministry may nominate him/her for admission to through any of the allocations stated in the general admission policies (such as children of employees in official universities).
  5. The student’s father/mother must fall under one of the following cases:
    • Currently employed by the Ministry or the Commission and at least two years have passed since his/her appointment.
    • Retired from the Ministry or the Commission, or placed on unpaid leave, or resigned, provided that (7) years of actual service were completed prior to retirement, placement on unpaid leave, or resignation from the Ministry or the Commission.
    • On leave without salary and allowances, seconded from the Ministry or the Commission, or among the employees of the Ministry or the Commission covered by any decisions related to restructuring, merging, or abolishing them, provided that he/she has at least (3) years of actual service in the Ministry or the Commission.
    • At least (3) years have passed since his/her appointment in the Ministry or the Commission before obtaining secondment.
    • Deceased while in service at the Ministry or the Commission.
  6. The student’s father/mother must not be among the Ministry’s or the Commission’s employees whose services were terminated or who were dismissed from their job.

Note that the available vacancies are only (3) three seats distributed among all official universities (excluding the University of Jordan and Jordan University of Science and Technology), in addition to the World Islamic Sciences and Education University.

The available vacancies do not include the majors of (Medicine and Dentistry).
