
Directorate of Scholarships at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research announces the start of submitting electronic applications to benefit from external scholarships for the academic year 2025-2026.
The Directorate of Scholarships at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research announces to students who have obtained the Jordanian General Secondary Education Certificate and who have met the requirements for admission to universities for the first time in the summer session (general) of 2025 and the supplementary session of 2024 in the scientific stream and the scientific/medical field, or their equivalents (Arab or foreign General Secondary Education Certificates) from inside or outside the Kingdom for the year 2025 only, with an average not less than 90%, and who wish to benefit from external scholarships granted to the Kingdom within the framework of cultural exchange with brotherly Arab and friendly foreign countries, that the process of submitting electronic applications to benefit from external scholarships for the academic year 2025-2026 will begin on the morning of Wednesday, 3-9-2025, until 12 midnight on Sunday, 7-9-2025, through the website of the Directorate of Scholarships at the following link: www.dsamohe.gov.jo
The Ministry wishes to draw the attention of dear students to the following:
- The necessity to review the details and instructions related to external scholarships for the academic year 2025-2026 available on the website of the Directorate of Scholarships through the following link: www.dsamohe.gov.jo, which include the Ministry’s conditions and the conditions of the donor countries, the number of scholarships and their distribution by majors and countries, including (Egypt, Morocco, Tunisia, Armenia), in addition to the benefits provided by the donor country, the Ministry, and the costs borne by the student.
- The average of the General Secondary Certificate and the geographical districts numbering (55) and the honorary districts numbering (3) districts (private education – foreign certificates from inside the Kingdom – foreign certificates from outside the Kingdom) will be adopted as the basis for the competition process.
- The distribution and determination of the number of scholarships for each district has been carried out by calculating the relative importance of the number of students who obtained an average of 90% and above in each district compared to the total number of students in all districts, where the student can, upon entering the application program, identify the countries and majors he is entitled to compete for in his district.
- All documents required from the student (personal file documents / country documents) are to be submitted by the student nominated on a final basis, and the student is not required to prepare any document before the final nomination, with the exception of the equivalency document for non-Jordanian certificates.
- The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research will announce the names of the students nominated for these scholarships after the announcement of the Unified Admission List, where any student nominated for admission in the same major in one of the Jordanian universities will be excluded from the nomination list for external scholarships.
- Whether the student’s decision is acceptance or rejection of the scholarship for which he is nominated, he will not be nominated for any other external scholarship, even in the event of withdrawal by a student from the same district.
- The student nominated for scholarships offered by the Egyptian government must fill out an application on the “Study in Egypt” platform within the “Apply for Scholarship - Undergraduate” portal.
- The Ministry confirms that the nomination process and the announcement of the names of the nominated students are carried out in accordance with the highest standards of transparency, through an electronic system without any human intervention, where each student can view the names and averages of the students who were nominated in the same district in which he is competing.
- The student bears responsibility for the accuracy of the contact information entered (phone number/email).
- The student must submit the application through a computer and cannot apply through a mobile phone.
