Important Warning Announcement from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to Students and Their Families

The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research warns students and their parents against advertisements promoting the securing of university admissions outside the Kingdom, especially in the Arab Republic of Egypt, where advertisements have spread through offices or unlicensed individuals, some of which have been proven to be fake, misleading, and illegal. The Ministry also confirms that these advertisements are not issued by it nor by any of the university services offices licensed by it, and that dealing with them is at one’s own responsibility due to the potential financial and academic damages that may result. The Ministry added that its duties include regulating and monitoring offices that provide services to students and operate داخل the Kingdom only, and that such activities do not fall within the scope of the Higher Education Student Services Offices Regulation No. (72) of 2017 in the Kingdom.

Accordingly, the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research calls upon its students and their families to exercise the highest levels of caution before paying any sums of money to any entity outside the Kingdom claiming the ability to secure university admissions in higher education institutions outside the Kingdom. It stresses the necessity of prior verification of the accuracy of such information through the accredited Jordanian embassies in the concerned countries, or through the approved official channels, in order to avoid fraud and to safeguard the rights of students and their families.
