Announcement of the STEP Scholarship for the Intermediate Technical Diploma
Are you looking for an opportunity to continue your education after completing the General Secondary Education Certificate and acquire practical skills that open the doors to the job market?
The Intermediate Technical Diploma Scholarship Programme under the Support to Technical and Vocational Education and Training for an Inclusive System (STEP) project offers young Jordanians from less advantaged groups the opportunity to receive a fully funded scholarship by the European Union to pursue Intermediate Technical Diploma programmes in fields that are in demand in the labour market.
The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) invites young Jordanian men and women to apply for one of the available scholarships, with up to 130 scholarships offered in the following fields:
Information Technology – Renewable Energy – Smart Agriculture – Hospitality – Nursing.
Female applicants and persons with disabilities are especially encouraged to apply. Priority will also be given to applicants from the northern and southern governorates.
Studies will commence in the first semester of the 2026/2027 academic year in cooperation with the partner universities:
Al-Balqa Applied University – Al al-Bayt University – Tafila Technical University.

Important Notice:
To apply for the scholarship, applicants must first apply through the Unified Admission Portal, then complete the online STEP Scholarship application.
Applicants must also include at least two study programmes covered under the STEP Scholarship at the partner universities among their choices in the Unified Admission application. Applications that do not meet this requirement will not be considered.
