The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research organizes a Jordanian universities exhibition in Kuwait in coordination and cooperation with the Jordanian Embassy and Al-Nokhba Company for Commercial Property Management

As part of the strategic plan to attract international students to study at higher education institutions in Jordan for the years 2023-2027, prepared by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in cooperation and coordination with its strategic partner, the Tourism Promotion Board, which aims to enhance educational tourism in the Kingdom and increase the enrollment of international students in Jordanian higher education institutions, the Ministry organized an exhibition for Jordanian universities in the State of Kuwait. Several Jordanian universities accredited in Kuwait participated in the event, held in collaboration with the Jordanian Embassy in Kuwait and Al-Nokhba Company for Commercial Property Management. The exhibition lasts for two days.

During the exhibition, the Ministry presented the key advantages of Jordanian universities in particular and the Jordanian higher education sector in general, along with the facilities provided to international students. It also highlighted the modern academic programs offered by Jordanian universities and distributed various informational brochures and guides introducing Jordanian universities, their offered majors, and the tuition fees, which are considered competitive compared to regional universities. Mr. Awni Tubaishat, the Cultural Attaché at the Jordanian Embassy in Kuwait, inaugurated the exhibition and toured its sections.

It is worth noting that the number of new international students who enrolled in various Jordanian higher education institutions at the beginning of the current academic year 2024-2025 reached 11,814 students. Meanwhile, the total number of international students currently studying at various Jordanian higher education institutions stands at 51,647 students from 113 countries worldwide, representing 11% of the total number of enrolled students.
