The Unified Admission Coordination Unit, affiliated with the Higher Education Council at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, announces that the process of submitting electronic applications for admission to public Jordanian universities and colleges for the undergraduate level in the supplementary session 2024-2025 will begin on the morning of Tuesday, February 4, 2025, and will continue until midnight on Saturday, February 8, 2025. Applications must be submitted through the unit’s official website (https://www.admhec.gov.jo).
Eligible applicants are Jordanian students who have successfully passed the Jordanian General Secondary Education Certificate Examination (Tawjihi) for the supplementary session 2024-2025 and have obtained an average of 65% or higher, whether they passed for the first time or are retaking the exam to improve their grades. These students must log in to the mentioned website, submit their admission application, and save their choices.
After submitting their application, students must pay a non-refundable application fee of 15 Jordanian dinars using the eFAWATEERcom electronic payment system, with the student's national ID number serving as the payment reference. This service is available through various payment channels, including Jordan Post offices across the country, online banking, Jordanian bank branches and ATMs, and authorized currency exchange offices.
For more details on the application process, accepted payment methods, and payment instructions, applicants are encouraged to visit the Unified Admission Coordination Unit’s website.
The unit also provides the following important guidelines for applicants:
- Students must visit the undergraduate admissions section on the website (https://www.admhec.gov.jo) to review essential details such as available majors at Jordanian public universities, admission requirements, tuition fees, general admission policies, application fee payment methods, guidance for applicants, frequently asked questions, and competitive admission averages from the previous summer session (2024-2025). Notably, students will only see programs for which they are eligible based on their Tawjihi scores.
- Students may modify their application choices at any time during the submission period by accessing the online system.
- The entire admission process is conducted electronically. Furthermore, due to the electronic integration between university applications and the Civil Status and Passports Department’s portal, students who have not yet obtained a national ID card can still submit their application using their national number and civil record details as listed in the family book of their household head.
- The unit assures that all applications will be processed fairly and transparently, with no preference given to applications submitted earlier in the process. Therefore, students are advised to take their time in selecting their preferred major and not rush their application submission.
