Important Announcement from the Unified Admission Coordination Unit at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research for Students with Disabilities Regarding the Identification Card Issued by the Higher Council for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities
The Unified Admission Coordination Unit at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, in cooperation and coordination with the Higher Council for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, announces that in accordance with the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Law No. 20 of 2017, any student with a disability wishing to compete for seats allocated to them under the general admission policies in Jordanian universities, or those wishing to obtain the exception stipulated in the bridging policy, or those wishing to obtain the specified tuition fee discount as stated in the law in either the regular or parallel programs, must submit an application to the Higher Council for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities to obtain the identification card. This is done by accessing the following link (note: it must be accessed using a personal computer): https://hcd.jo and visiting the Council at one of the liaison office addresses listed below after registering via the link, in order to be prioritized for diagnosis. Please note that a student will not be considered a person with a disability unless they hold the identification card issued by the Higher Council for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.
